sooooo, I have now finished an eyes page, nose page and mouth page for my inspiration pages for my creatures so i never get stuck with what to make them look like.

this was the first page i finished, the eye page

After finishing the page of strange little eyes, i went onto the mouth page and nose page.

so far i have used these pages for three different projects. they are so handy for those days when my brains cogs don't want to turn.

BECI ORPIN book launch- Find & Keep

So I headed over to the book launch last night and had a great little old time! I was so happy to see the one and only Beci sitting with her books and giving a signature out to her fans. Though I do feel bad for her hand, I am so happy that she signed my copy. The book has great creative craft ideas to try your skills with great for young and old. The small captions of text are very informative on her personal creative process which I loved. If you want a bit of a kick up the bum these holidays for creative projects, I strongly recommend this colourful and wonderfully constructed book.

She is one of my all time creative idols and she has never once disappointed me in her directions. She is one who created a new design aesthetic for Melbourne and I will be forever grateful to her for helping me get through my studying with her motivation and inspiration.
